After a quick litter pick it was clear to see that it’s not just seaweed that had been washed up on the shore. We placed our collected litter around a map of Great Cumbrae to get a better idea of where our litter’s journey may have begun. Then we plotted our litter on to a graph estimating the environmental damage it might cause and the length of time it could remains in an ecosystem.
