Are you interested in environmental issues that are impacting the state of the Clyde? Or how you can share these issues with wider audiences and young people? The Clyde litter symposium will be taking place at FSC Millport on the 26th of November 10.40-3.30 at a price of £10 and will include workshops and talks relating to these issues. The aim of the day will be to share practical ideas on how we can all work together to improve the Clyde Marine environment.
- An overview of recent research on the impacts of Microplastics on the Clyde Marine environment.
- Practical ideas on how to organise a beach clean.
- Citizen Science data from beach cleans. What is the National Picture?
- Using marine litter as a teaching tool: practical outdoor learning activities which link to the Literacy, numeracy and Learning for Sustainability curriculum
