We had a very special evening last night. There can’t be that many places where you can sit watching pine martens feed, with the sound of rutting red deer stags echoing around the glen and the northern lights flickering across the sky. That was the treat enjoyed by our Small Mammals and Autumn Birds courses. As one participant said, talk about value for money! The night before we had laid on ‘shooting stars’ for them (The Draconid Meteor Shower) We are hoping for clear skies and a repeat performance tonight.
